We are very fortunate to have master teacher Ira Weisburd at Fall Camp this year.

Here are some of the many dances that Ira has choreographed. You are sure to be familiar with some.

At our Fall Camp, we are excited to feature a variety of engaging folk dances, including traditional pieces like BOI MALKA from Israel and SONATA also from Israel. Enthusiasts can enjoy the vibrant rhythms with choreography for RRUSHJAE LALES from Albania and the delightful W MOIM OGRODECZKU from Poland. Join us to learn the captivating moves of MASHALA from Bulgaria, and experience the energy of KRITKO SERVIKO from Greece. We will also showcase CHIRI BIRI BELA MARE JOJA from Croatia, ELENO KERKO and EDNO MALOJ MOME from North Macedonia, as well as the beautiful LA BORDEIUL CEL DIN VALE from Romania and the lively CUMBIA SEMANA from Colombia. Our dance choreographer will guide participants through line dances and folk traditions from these diverse cultures.

Ira and his wife, Diane, live in Boca Raton , Florida .

Ira is especially known for his Latin-style line dances.

He has also has made his mark on Israeli folk dance through his own dances.

Ira has also collaborated with well-known Israeli choreographers.

As a seasoned dance choreographer with over 30 years of experience, Ira specializes in teaching and choreographing folk dance and line dances. He conducts workshops across the United States and has also taken his expertise on a world tour, organizing sessions in Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, including special events like the Fall Camp.
